Black Crown Night Heron In Flight

I had a joyous time capturing this bird. It was in the very middle of a pond with the sunshining on the pond. When I first approached the pond I did not see the bird and startled it and away he went. Eventually it came out of hiding and I was able to spend time photographing it.
